ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 25-year-old man was arrested after police say he shot and killed another man early Saturday morning in St. Pete.
Investigators with the St. Petersburg Police Department say the shooting happened near 40th Street and 34th Avenue South.
Police say they arrived around 7: 30 a.m. at the home of 25-year-old James White to find 29-year-old Marcus Nilsen with a gunshot wound. Nilsen was later pronounced dead.
White shot Nilsen during an altercation at the home, according to police. The death is still under investigation.
No other information has been released at this time.
