HOMELAND, Fla. — One person was killed in a school bus crash in Polk County Thursday.
Investigators said a car crashed into the bus and the driver of the car died.
Deputies said the four students who were on the bus were checked out and are going to be okay. The bus driver is also expected to be okay.
The bus attendant was admitted to the hospital with an injury to her hip.
Investigators said the bus and car hit head-on after the car started to hydroplane.
