Co-ed bowling league looking to ramp up interest in Tampa Bay area

Better Off Bowling co-ed social league wants to bring back the spirit of sporting communities.

TAMPA, Fla. — Whether you hit a gutter or strike, the Better Off Bowling co-ed league is looking to bring people together for more than just hitting pins.

The newly launched co-ed league meets from 6:30 to 8:10 p.m. Tuesdays at Pinarama Bowling Center on South Dale Mabry Highway near Gandy Boulevard in Tampa.

Welcoming all skill levels, the league has teams formed with names like Pin Pals, Stars and Strikes, and Spare Ribs, and it wants you to join in on the fun and fellowship.

 The concept of this co-ed bowling league is widely popular and runs events in 32 cities with 60,000 players across the country.  

Now coming to Tampa, the league organizers hope to appeal to young professionals as a way grow your skills and meet new people.
