ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — Pasco County deputies arrested a woman accused of breaking into a residence and beating her ex-girlfriend with a lava lamp.

Chanel Hall, 29, left a gash across her ex-girlfriend's forehead that needed three stitches, according to the arrest affidavit.

Deputies say Hall broke through a locked front door without permission around 3 a.m. June 10.

The affidavit claims Hall began beating the victim in the head with a lava lamp and destroyed a bedroom door frame. Investigators say the pair had been in a relationship for roughly 10 months.
