WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — A Winter Haven crash on Monday morning closed a stretch of Highway 17 in both directions for several hours.
Highway 17 has since reopened.
The highway was closed from Havendale Boulevard to Avenue M Northwest, according to the Winter Haven Police Department.
The crash did not have serious injuries, police said.
Police said a vehicle hit a power pole, which is caused complete closure.
Police said there is another crash blocking lanes on eastbound Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 3rd Street NE.
Drivers are advised to find alternative routes because traffic is "extremely heavy" in this area.
