HOLIDAY, Fla. — A Pasco County detective was choked with his own necktie when he went to arrest a 21-year-old man accused of touching a teen girl, according to arrest affidavits.

One affidavit from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said Deshaun Justin Brown asked a 14-year-old girl to meet up with him after he watched her swim at an apartment complex in Holiday.

According to an affidavit, the victim said Brown gave her marijuana and alcohol inside his apartment. Inside an elevator, Brown lifted the victim’s shirt and also left a "hickey" on her breast, according to deputies.

Investigators claim the victim told them Brown had also taken her behind some bushes, kissed her and put his hand into her pants.

An affidavit describes a Facebook message, in which Brown allegedly told the victim he wished she would have let him do more.

“This is a first for both of us i've never had a younger girl i want it to be special,” the arrest affidavit claims Brown wrote.

When Pasco County deputies showed up, they claim Brown resisted arrest and even grabbed a detective's necktie, pulling it so tightly around his neck that it restricted the detective's breathing. According to an arrest affidavit, the detective let go of Brown to loosen his tie, so he could breathe, and a deputy attempted to restrain Brown.

The deputy said Brown tried to bite his arm and continued to push him away.

Authorities said a bystander saw the scuffle between them and Brown and jumped in to help them restrain him. Both the deputy and detective said they received cuts and bruises from the incident.
