Group wants to make laughing at 'Floridaman' into a game

They are trying to raise $15,000 to get the card game into production.

We've all been amused by reading (and in our case writing) stories about the fabled "Florida Man."

Now, a group wants to make laughing at Florida Man's antics more fun by turning them into a game.

A group called Secret Headquarters set up a Kickstarter to get its "Floridaman: The Card Game" into production.

The game appears to be a hybrid between Cards Against Humanity and TV's "Match Game." One player presents a Headline Card which tells a Florida Man headline with certain words missing. Players fill in the blanks with the wildest action cards they have, and the first player judges a winner. Then the players find out what the actual headline was.

The sample Headline Card: "Florida man breaks into home, steals ____, poops on ____ and falls asleep on ____."

(The actual headline: "Florida man breaks into home, steals alcohol, poops on floor and falls asleep on couch.")

As of Thursday evening, the drive was about halfway to its $15,000 goal.
