CLEARWATER, Fla. — An investigation is underway into a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.
It happened around 9:36 a.m. Saturday in the area of Old Coachman and Wetherington roads, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a car making a U-turn entered the path of a motorcycle, which crashed into the car. Its 66-year-old male rider was thrown from the motorcycle and would succumb to his injuries.
Another motorcyclist traveling with him overturned to avoid the crash and slid into the back-end of the car.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
