The streets of Tampa will soon be filled with thousands of people donning eyepatches, colorful beads, captains hats and fake swords.
Gasparilla season is coming, and so are the pirates.
But where do these local scallywags get their gear? Here are a few suggestions for pirate garb.

This one-stop shop promises to take you from “landlubber to authentic pirate.” At Pirate Fashions, stock up on pirate garb like sashes, bandanas and boots and wench wear like corsets and coats. You can even get a complete outfit to channel your inner Jack Sparrow or Captain Morgan. The Tampa store even has a miniature pirate ship inside to help you test out your new styles.

If you live on the Pinellas side of the bay, there are still a few Gasparilla options for you. Fantasy Costumes in Pinellas Park has been a one-stop shop for Halloween and other costumes year round. The bright purple building is full of all-in-one pirate costumes, beads and accessories. The shop even carries supplies for clowns and magicians.
