The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Wednesday morning for parts of Citrus, Hernando, Levy and Sumter counties.

Temperatures will range from 32-36 degrees Fahrenheit with widespread frost possible.

Frost will damage or kill sensitive vegetation if left uncovered.

Wednesday morning’s frost advisory includes the following cities: Bronson, Brooksville, Bushnell, Cedar Key, Chiefland, Lake Panasoffkee, Inverness, Spring Hill, The Villages, Wildwood, Williston and Yankeetown.

The frost advisory lasts from 1 a.m.-8 a.m. ET Wednesday.

A frost advisory is issued when the minimum temperature is forecast to be 33 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit on clear and calm nights during the growing season.
