Tornado warning canceled in Hillsborough County; storms move out of Tampa Bay area

Multiple tornado warnings have been canceled, but the storm threat isn't over yet.
10News Reporter Emerald Morrow captured residents and emergency crews taking in the storm damage along Atis Street in New Port Richey.

Strong to severe thunderstorms that moved onshore Sunday are beginning to roll away from the Tampa Bay area.

A tornado warning had been issued until 11:45 a.m. for Hillsborough County, but that weather alert has since been canceled.

Several other tornado warnings were in effect earlier, including for Hernando, Pasco and Pinellas counties. The National Weather Service has since canceled those warnings as some storms have weakened.

A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for Manatee County, but that has been canceled, too.
