ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The driver of a stolen car has been charged with vehicular homicide for crashing into another vehicle and fatally injuring a woman in St. Petersburg, police say.
Carl McKinley, 20, was one of four men in the stolen Hyundai that struck a PT Cruiser carrying 46-year-old Yalanda Speights on Nov. 24 at 18th Avenue S. and 25th Street S.
Speights died of her injuries a little more than a week later.
Her mom, who was driving the PT Cruiser, was seriously hurt in the crash.
