HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- Hillsborough detectives are investigating what lead up to the deaths of three people in the Palm River-Clair Mel area.
Deputies received a 911 call shortly after 3 p.m. about a house fire on 16th Avenue near Margaret Street from a neighbor. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and while putting out the fire, discovered three bodies.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects involved.
Firefighters discovered evidence the three deaths were not fire-related and turned the scene over to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they suspect foul play.
Late Thursday, detectives tweeted a photo of a car they are looking for in relation to the fire. The silver, four-door sedan resembles a 2008 Infinity M35.
Also, a video shows a suspect approach the home with a gas canister before leaving in the car.
Anyone with information is asked to call (813) 247-8200 or contact Crime Stoppers.
