Deputies: Man arrested for lying to law enforcement after saying his name was 'Han Solo'

Justen Strausbach also said his name was Eric Bradshaw.

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. -- Hernando County deputies arrested a homeless man after they said he attempted to burglarize a home and gave false names to law enforcement.

The man, later identified as Justen Strausbach, said his name was Han Solo, the blaster-slinging outlaw from Star Wars, and then Eric Bradshaw, deputies said.

Deputies said they responded to a call about a burglary attempt where a man was trying to get into a sliding glass door of an occupied home. The deputies said they saw the name wearing dark clothing walking at the intersection of Steuben Street and Magee Street after the reported burglary attempt.

When deputies asked the man's name, he first said "Han solo" and then "Eric Bradshaw." Deputies said they called for a Rapid ID and Florida Highway Patrol arrived to scan his fingerprints.

Deputies said they were able to confirm it was Strausbach with previous booking photos.

Strausbach was arrested for providing false names to law enforcement and violation of probation. Deputies said they determined there were no signs of a burglary attempt, so Strausbach wasn't charged for that.
