10 Weather: Fantastic Friday sunshine leads into an egg-ceptional holiday weekend

Beautiful days ahead! Rain stays away and humidity remains low leaving us with pleasantly warm afternoons into early next week.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Following a cool morning, our temperatures this afternoon will feature a refreshing, drier change now that our Springtime front exited the region. You can look forward to a rain-free forecast over the next several days leaving plenty of time to enjoy time with family or take some time for yourself!

Today: With NNE winds, temperatures will gradually warm to the upper 70s for our northern and coastal areas and lower 80s for our inland and interior regions. Humidity remains low but the UV index is high so be sure to apply the sunscreen often and generously.

This Weekend: The sun-filled weather stretches into our holiday weekend with cooler mornings to kick things off both Saturday and Sunday with daybreak temperatures in the lower 60s. For anyone planning sunrise services, dawn is around 7:21 on Easter morning. Each afternoon we will be a degree or two warmer, with afternoon highs hovering around the lower 80s. The only downfall of the rain staying away would be those allergens remaining high so keep that in mind if you're outdoors. The sun's rays also remain strong so sunglasses, sunblock and breaks in the shade are recommended.
