MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- In another episode of the Marion County Sheriff's Office's "Deputies Walking with Wildlife," Deputy Bryan Bowman encountered this grumpy, slow tortoise.
The sheriff's office posted the video to Facebook and said that Bowman was driving and just saw this large tortoise walking down the road and blocking traffic.
Bowman said he flipped around the tortoise and threw on his lights to slow down traffic, but when he tried to guide the tortoise off the road, it snapped at him.
He said he saw "multiple traffic infractions occurring" and followed "the old man" for about 20 minutes before he finally went into the woods.
