Tarpon Springs police searching for Chase Bank robbery suspect

The man walked up to the teller and told them he had a gun before handing them a black duffel bag and demanding cash, said police.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla.— Tarpon Springs police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Chase Bank on U.S. Highway 19 Saturday morning.

The man walked up to the teller and told them he had a gun before handing them a black duffel bag and demanding cash, said police.

The suspect was given money and then immediately left the bank on foot, reports said.

Police said nobody was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect told the teller he had a gun, but never showed one to them, police said.
