A pilot for the Saudi royal family was arrested this week in Maine in a North Port case, police said.
Marcin Urbanski, 49, was arrested Tuesday in Bangor, Maine.
In March 2016, a North Port man accused Urbanski of offering him a job with Myanmar National Airlines and taking $9,000 from the victim for what he said was processing fees.
The victim said Urbanski told him after a year he would get the $9,000 back.
After several months, the victim contacted the airlines, who told him Urbanski was not a recruiter for the airlines and had only worked for the airlines for few weeks.
The victim filed a grand theft report against Urbanski, but he had left the country by then.
