The #FamiliesBelongTogether protests are being led by The National Domestic Worker’s Alliance and MoveOn, along with hundreds of other organizations. The MoveOn.org website says more events are expected to be added.

More than 100 protests are being organized across 40 states to oppose the “zero tolerance” policy of immigration enacted by President Donald Trump’s administration.

In the last six weeks, nearly 2,000 children have been separated from their families at the border while their parents face criminal charges.
