TAMPA, Fla.—Check your fridge and think twice before you bite into a juicy melon from a few locations around the area.
Pre-cut melons and pre-made fruit salads by Catio Foods, LLC were recalled by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for potential salmonella bacteria contamination.
Thursday the CDC added five Sprouts locations around the Tampa Bay area to the list of placed that could have sold the contaminated fruits.
