SARASOTA, Fla. -- A young boy found wandering alone in an apartment parking lot has been reunited with family.
Police say the boy, aged 4-5, was found wearing only a diaper around 8 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Florida Palm Apartments located at 851 Mecca Drive.
He was unable to speak with officers.
Officers found the father of the child while they were conducting a search in the area.
An investigation into how he ended up in the lot is ongoing.
