ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The southbound lanes of the Sunshine Skyway has reopened Tuesday morning after a truck fire.
Sgt. Steve Gaskins of the Florida Highway Patrol reports a semi-truck hauling garbage suffered a tire blow out, which created a spark and caused the garbage to catch fire.
The Florida Highway Patrol earlier said to expect delays and to use caution in the area.
