TAMPA, Fla. - The city of Tampa dyed the Hillsborough River green for St. Patrick's Day.
Saturday's seven annual Mayor's River O'Green Fest is free and starts around 11 a.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
The green dye used by city workers is safe people and wildlife, according to the event's website.
City workers tested the green dye in the Hillsborough River last week.
