TAMPA, Fla. -- One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash early Wednesday.
A person walking along Adamo Drive was hit by a car; its driver took off, according to authorities. Eastbound Adamo Drive between 50th Street and Orient Road in Tampa is closed.
Drivers are advised to take Broadway Avenue or Palm River Road as a detour.
